The Democratic Party has whole heartedly embraced liberal ideology. Embraced it to the point that it has become absurd, witness the elementary school near Boston that has banned the children’s game of “tag”. So absurd that liberalism has become a threat that needs to be dealt with within the arena of ideas.
To this end, Jim Quinn has put together a primer called Quinn’s Indisputable Laws. For the uninitiated political novice, these laws outline what a liberal is, how they think, and how they react to the world around them. Below is that list:
- Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent.
- If you want to know what liberals are up to, pay attention to what they accuse the conservatives of.
- The amount of wealth in any given area is inversely proportional to the amount of Democrats running it.
- Liberalism only succeeds when the public is scared into believing that it will not survive without it.
- When liberalism conflicts with reality, reality must give way.
- Facts are the enemy of liberalism.
- Things are different when you are a Democrat [regarding his allegations of the media's ignorance towards Democratic scandals and misconduct].
- A Liberal is any person for whom two thousand years of human experience and history means nothing now that they are here.
- To liberals, intentions are more significant than the outcomes they achieve.
- Liberals never think what they are doing is wrong, they only think they haven’t done enough of it yet or it is underfunded.
- Profiling is what groups call bigotry when they have a problem they don’t want to talk about.
- Democrats and liberals do not engage in debate, they try to silence you. If they engaged in debate, they’d lose.
- Democrats are political opportunists.
- Liberalism is based on unproven and/or disproven theory.
- Every culture is unquestionable except the West’s
- Liberals view the world the way they think it should be, not the way it is.
- Being a liberal is the art of standing on ones own head and telling the rest of the world that they are upside down.
Law 17 is a recent addition and may not appear on many lists you encounter on the internet.
But here you have them folks, the Indisputable Laws. Intolerance is the name of the game for the liberal because they always operate from the unshakable notion that they are already right, any further debate is dangerous. Dangerous because it might lead “other” people astray from the enlightened truth that the liberal posses. Any deviation will upset the natural order of things and so those deviant ideas must not be debated, they must be squashed.
Lesson 2 is the revelation of the nature of the beast that is liberalism: social, cultural, economic, and spiritual Marxism. There is no room for freedom in the liberal mindset, we (non-liberals) must march in lockstep with the accepted norms of society as chosen by the liberal at this particular moment in time (read situational ethics and relativism).
Of this list, Law 1 (Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of it’s stated intent) is the most applicable and easiest to see in action today. When a liberal says their program will help STOP illegal immigration you can know it will help INCREASE illegal immigration. If a liberal says their gun control legislation will make the streets SAFER it will most certainly make the streets MORE DANGEROUS.
All these things are documented fact; but Laws 5 and 6 tell us what to expect from the Liberal as response to our hard data. But try it for yourself. Get to know the Laws and use them when you hear unabashed liberals speak during the rest of this election cycle. You will realize as I did, that Quinn got it spot on, and that liberalism is an ideology ready for the ash heap of history.
