I don’t want this blog to be “Look at what I found on Youtube!” but I have to share this. I don’t know how to describe it. I have never seen conjoined twins of this magnitude, I suppose this is the last step before tetragametic chimerism.

  1. I wonder if they have trouble with which brain controls what. Do they both eat normal amounts.

    I can’t imagine what that would be like.

  2. Aren’t conjoined twins partially splitted identical twins? The wikipedia article on chimeras suggests they form out of fraternal twins.

  3. Anna, I was addressing the phenomena and the comparison to chimerism from a morphological perspective rather then a purely genetic approach. But your is a valid point, the two conditions are not related from a developmental standpoint.
