Check with the laws in your area but privacy rights usually rule and if your neighbor is putting out an unsecure signal and it enters your home what you do with it is your business.
Canada has a law on the books called “Theft of Telecommunications” and it is a 3rd degree felony, even if by accident your wireless card connects to another’s internet connection. Tennessee has jumped on board and you can read about the “Accidental Felon” in the St. Petersburg Times.
All good things must come to an end and in this era the personal property rights vs governments chance to make something else illegal and impose fines, guess who will win this battle, if it is even waged at all? Money talks and your rights walk.
Guess I am gonna have to “pay the man” one way or another.
